How to make a Personal Avatar on VEED
Creating a Personal Avatar on VEED is really easy. Simply follow these steps:
Step 1: Head on over to your VEED workspace and click on “Create an avatar of yourself.”
Step 2: Make sure you’ve given VEED permission to access your camera and microphone on your browser. Follow the on-screen instructions to do this.
Step 3: Get ready to record. Follow the on-screen tips to ensure a smooth recording experience. Make sure you’re in a quiet and well-lit environment. We recommend not wearing any accessories such as hats or earrings. Once you’re all set, click on the button that says “I’m ready — let’s record!”
Step 4: You will be led to a recording page with a teleprompter setup for you. Whenever you’re ready, go ahead and click on the red button that says “Start Recording.”
Start reading the script on the teleprompter. Remember to speak the words out loud in a natural voice, as if you’re having a conversation with a friend. Avoid moving your head and hands as you speak.
Once you’re finished recording yourself reading out the on-screen script, hit “Finish recording.” You can also start over at any given moment.
Step 5: Wait for your recording to upload. Go through the checklist you see on the screen. Once everything is set, click on “Everything’s good — create my custom avatar!”
That’s pretty much it! All you have to do now is wait. It takes a few hours for your Personal Avatar to finish generating. Once done, you will find it in the AI Avatars library on VEED, ready to be featured in your talking head videos.
