With VEED’s built-in screen recorder, you can record your business videos, and even edit them to make them on-brand and engaging with ease. Read on, as we break down how you and your team can create professional-grade business videos one step at a time.

Step 1: Open the VEED Editor and Hit Record Video
Sign up and/or log into your VEED account. Once on your workspace, hit the Record Video button at the top (next to where it says Create Project).
Step 2: Select How You Want to Record
VEED gives you 6 different options for screen recording. For recording business videos, the two most suitable options are:
- Screen and Camera: allows you to record yourself and any tab, window, or entire screen
- Slides and Camera: allows you to record yourself and share your presentation
Click on whichever option fits your project needs.
Step 3: Select a Layout for Your Recording
At the bottom, click on Layouts to determine which option you’d like to pick a suitable placement of your camera and screen recording. VEED gives you three options; pick one that you like the most.
Step 4: Select a Background for Your Business Video
Next, click on Background at the bottom bar. Browse through our selection of preset backgrounds, set a color that you like, or even upload a custom image to better match your brand. This is completely up to you.
Step 5: Hit Record
Once you’re satisfied with the look and feel of your preview, hit the red Record button at the top-right corner of the screen. A timer will show up, after which you can go ahead and start working your magic.
After you’re done recording, simply hit the Stop button and VEED will start processing your video.
Step 6: Edit and Polish Your Video
After your recording is done processing, click on Edit in the top right corner and then click on Edit Manually. This will take you to the VEED editor, with your recording locked and loaded.
Here, you can customize and modify your video to make it more engaging. Here are a few things you can try:
- Use Magic Cut to automatically remove silences, umms, and ahs from your recording. To do this, click on the Magic Cut button, which you’ll find right above the timeline.
- Add subtitles to enable viewers to watch your video on mute, ensure everything is communicated clearly, and improve accessibility. To do this, click on the Add Subtitles button in the toolbar on the left. You can pick from our presets or customize them to fit your brand.
- Add shapes and pointers to highlight important parts of your presentation and better drive your point home. Click on Add Elements in the sidebar from where you can add shapes, icons, and more.
- Use Eye Contact Correction to adjust your gaze in the recording with AI, so that it appears like you are looking “at the viewer” for maximum engagement. To do this, click on Magic Tools under the preview of the video and click on Eye Contact.
Once satisfied with the final result, click on Done in the top right corner of the editor, pick the desired quality, and hit Export Video. VEED will start rendering the video after which, you can download and share it.
