Tell Us a Bit About Yourself and Your Project DentalTV
My name is Alessandro Devigus. I’m a dentist and the founder of DentalTV, which is a project I started for the dental community. Think of it like Netflix, but made for dental professionals.
The target audience for my project isn’t only dentists, but everyone you’d find on a typical dental team. The goal is to teach them everything that they’d never learn in dental school. I think outside the box — I don’t just create content on topics like how to fix a hole or clean a patient’s teeth. Instead, I cover topics such as photography, videos, social media, mental health, and being a woman in the dental industry.
We have a website and a mobile app as well. The latter allows you to download and watch content on your smartphone on-the-go.
How Did You Discover VEED? How Has it Changed the Way You Edit Videos?
I started interviewing people from around the world before the pandemic for my content. These mostly included dentists, but also photographers and CEOs of companies. I published my videos on my YouTube channel, and was looking for an easy and straightforward tool that allowed me to create and translate subtitles — since we speak several different languages in Switzerland.
VEED offered a great combination of subtitling and other editing functions.
The combination of having an AI script generator, the teleprompter, and now the possibility of Magic Cut saves me a lot of time, as I don’t have to think about what to do or what to edit.

How Do You Use VEED for Content Creation?
I love that VEED already offers GIFs, emojis, and other elements. It also offers some good text tools. I can use all of these to spice up my videos. I like that I have the possibility to give my videos this extra touch in one place.

There are a lot of other hidden features and gems in the software that I’m using more and more.
Subtitling and Translating
The reason I looked into VEED was because I needed a tool that allowed me to add subtitles and translate my content. Even today, the most important features remain the transcription of videos and their translation into other languages.
Recording
I sometimes record my content directly on VEED. The recording function offered by the tool has become an important part of my creation process. I use it together with the teleprompter which is also built into the platform.
Creating Content with AI
I also started using the AI tools on VEED. I like to use the AI avatar speakers to present my information. I often combine my own clips — so people can see that there’s a doctor behind all this — and hand over to my avatars to present the information in a condensed form. This combination of the human touch and AI is also something that works very well using VEED.
Creating Content in 4K
When creating high quality content, you often run into this problem: if you have a 4K camera, you might not be able to record or even edit in 4K due to the limitations of the software.
I use a high quality microphone to record the audio directly on VEED, and use a camera to record the video simultaneously. I then upload the 4K video to VEED and merge it with the audio, resulting in high quality content.
Content Repurposing
I also like having things online. All of my recordings and projects are there on my VEED workspace, and I can transform them into other formats. For instance, I’ve recorded something for DentalTV, and want to use a snippet of it for Instagram. VEED gives me the option to repurpose my content easily and share it on different platforms.
Producing Podcast Episodes with Templates
I also use VEED for my podcast production. I use ElevenLabs to clone my voice and generate the audio, and then use the templates on VEED to create the episodes.
How Would You Describe VEED to a Friend? Would You Recommend Us?
VEED is my go-to tool for educational content creation for the DentalTV project. It can also be used for fun projects, but for me personally, VEED is like a professional tool.
